Improving lighting control through the expansion of the KNX system at Arima Hotel

CLIVING15 S.L. has delivered the project “Improving lighting control through the expansion of the KNX system at Arima Hotel”, as part of the funding programme supporting investment in the renewal of equipment for tourism establishments and related economic activities, within the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan, funded by the European Union – NextGenerationEU.

The project involved extending the KNX-based lighting control system and integrating it into the building management system, enabling more efficient control of lighting across different areas of the property.

Objectives of the project

  • Improve the energy efficiency of the lighting system

  • Reduce unnecessary consumption through automation

  • Align lighting operation with the actual use of each space

  • Optimise centralised building management

Results achieved

  • Integration of additional areas into the KNX system and BMS

  • Implementation of time scheduling, centralised shutdowns and usage-based control logic

  • Energy savings of 5,851.75 kWh/year (20%)

  • Enhanced control and overall efficiency of the lighting system

Replacement of equipment with high-efficiency solutions at Arima Hotel

CLIVING15 S.L. has delivered the project “Replacement of equipment with high-efficiency solutions at Arima Hotel”, as part of the funding programme supporting investment in the renewal of equipment for tourism establishments and related economic activities, within the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan, funded by the European Union – NextGenerationEU.

The project involved replacing professional kitchen and cleaning equipment with more energy-efficient solutions, reducing overall consumption while improving operational performance across the property.

Actions carried out

  • Replacement of the industrial dishwasher with a lower energy consumption unit

  • Replacement of professional ovens with higher-efficiency models

  • Replacement of the industrial floor scrubber with a more efficient model in terms of consumption and performance

Objectives of the project

  • Improve the energy efficiency of equipment

  • Reduce electricity consumption linked to daily operations

  • Optimise the performance of kitchen and cleaning processes

  • Contribute to a more sustainable operation of the property

Results achieved

  • Reduction in installed power across the replaced equipment

  • Improved overall energy efficiency in kitchen and cleaning areas

  • Optimisation of operational processes

  • Contribution to reducing environmental impact
